HTC constant boundary condition crash

Postby rwendner » Thu Aug 04, 2016 5:12 pm

A constant 0 BC for the diffusion problem causes a segmentation fault.

If lc1 in attached example is defined as follows the calculation crashes:

LoadCurve lc1 {
X-Units time hours // real time for diffusion
Y-Units temperature degK
ReadPairs 2
0 0
10 0
}

I run the attached file a few times with rest of your files, I couldn't reproduce the issue, all the runs finish without problem.

Also, try to clean and rebuild to see if the issue is resolved. If it persists, can you do a debug run to pinpoint where you had the crash?

I tried reproducing the problem.

The program crashed only in a few runs of many.
Every time it crashed it stopped in the writing paraview plot file for a nodelist, see the other post
