Greetings,
I am currently having problem with reading restart file and strain gauge. It creates restart file without error, but when it tries to read then the error "unkowen class name [StrainGageTf]" came up. If I remove strain gauges out of my model then it creates restart file and read it without any problem. I am student who is working on master thesis with Roman Wan-Wendner and Kresimir Nincevic.

The issue is fixed in version 2018.06.06. It can be found under HotFix folder on our server.
