Hi
paraview plots of a hex solid list of type "Geometry" results in corrupted plot files.
however, the same script runs without issues if the type is switched to 8IP
version 2016.9.09 on Mac

Can you post the input file so I can reproduce the issue? I tried one input, it works fine.

The Solid keyword is created to be used for deformable hex list (single IP, 8IP). For geometry type, please use empty bracket (external surface rendering) since there is nothing to show inside.

I would still process the solid command - if you want to use the clip or the slice function in paraview then you can see at least the internal mesh

The Solid keyword is now implemented for geometry hex in 2016.11.18.
