As our GitLab users and projects grow, the internal GitLab server hosted by ES3 has been overloaded from time to time and experienced unpleasant downtime occasionally.
We decided to switch to the commercial GitLab community (http://www.gitlab.com) to host our current and future projects. We expect to have more reliable experience and make use of the latest features developed by the GitLab community.
To complete the switch, our current GitLab users are required to
1. create a GitLab account on http://www.gitlab.com (regular users are free to use it, see pricing here: https://about.gitlab.com/pricing/). Be sure to add an SSH key to your account (https://gitlab.com/help/ssh/README#loca ... h-key-pair).
2. send an email to mars@es3inc.com and include: 1) username at http://www.gitlab.com, 2) name of projects you currently have access to. Once we receive the email, we will recover your access.
3. update project URL in your Git client software. For example, the old url from our server
