SV plotting paraview

Postby LisaMarie2811 » Mon Oct 08, 2018 7:09 am

Hi,

I have problems creating paraview files of the state variables for a large LDPM mesh coupled with a multi-physics problem. Whenever I want to get this specific output I am getting an memory allocation fail (see attached file). However, when I remove the section for Paraview SV plots, the model works fine. I also never had this problem with smaller models. I am using Mars Version 2018.09.00, but I also had the same issue in the past.

thanks in advance,

best,

Lisa

when memory allocation fails, it's most likely the model is too big to fit. In MARS printout (not captured in the screenshot), LDPM tet list prints the memory it consumes, you can get an idea of how that compares to the memory is available on the computer.

I need the input file to debug if you think it's a bug in the code.
