Hello,

I have a problem defining the correct parameters for the penalty method using NodeTriangleContactList. The distance between the LDPM mesh (PRTC) and the RigidBody is 3 mm but it can be change. I divided this value for the FaceThickness and the NodeThickness (3mm and 0mm for example). The DetectionDistance was set to 3 mm and the ContactForce Penalty was through a small timestep of dt = 0.00001 ms.
In that case, I can see in Paraview some particles flying before the actual contact and after a point, I see the penetration of the RigidBody through the PRTC. How could I solve this issue ?

Please fix the input file first.

Simplifying your problem and only including the contact part will make it easier to test your contact model.
